Hey there,
In light of the mass shooting that took place at Robb Elementary in Texas this week, which has compiled on the collective grief and shock that we are all still feeling from the Buffalo and Laguna Woods mass shootings, I’m choosing to take a pause this week on the food systems news cycle. Instead, I’ve listed some resources for rest and meditation - two practices that I’ve found necessary to feel equipped to continue learning, hoping, and exploring pathways for long-term change. In a society where we’ve been taught that productivity is king, it can be easy to forget that it is okay - imperative, even - to take a break.
